John Strappazon
After coming into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as a college student, John has ministered to and discipled college students and those who work with them for over 40 years in both church based and campus based ministries. During this time, he has worked at colleges across the Southwestern United States, ministering full time at the University of Houston, University of Oklahoma, University of New Mexico, and Texas Tech University where he led 9:30, the college ministry of First Baptist Church, Lubbock for 14 years.
While at Texas Tech he served as the chaplain for the Red Raider football team under Mike Leach. John led a weekly bible study for coaches as well as before game chapels. He discipled both coaches and players. After leaving Tech he has continued to invest in /disciple his coaching and player friends through writing weekly devotionals during the football season which he’s titled Life’s Equipment Bag. John began writing these 19 years ago and they have been read by coaches and sports fans from coast to coast. He has published two books of these devotionals, Life’s Equipment Bag, The Game of Your Life and recently Gear for the Game.
John left direct campus ministry in 2004 to lead Oklahoma Baptist’s state-wide ministry, BCM, to students on 35 campuses. John spent nine years leading, encouraging, empowering, and discipling 50 plus directors and associates. He also assisted local churches with their college ministries.
John has a heart to invest in those who want to reach college students and has taught Collegiate Ministry at three seminaries, Southwestern, Midwestern, and Gateway, and spoken at two others, New Orleans and Dallas Theological.
Focusing on college students for most of his adult life, he has and spoken on over 50 campuses across the U.S and in Asia. Enjoying speaking, he preached weekly to several hundred college students weekly during his 14 years at Texas Tech and has also interim pastored four churches along the way.
John and his wife Wanda of 45 years make their home in Fort Worth, Texas. He is self-employed and partners with his wife in a speaking, teaching, discipling, coaching, and writing through John Strappazon Ministries. He has one daughter, Lindsay, and two grandsons, Everett, and Caiden.

Clayton Bullion
As Director of Via Students, Clayton leads a global team to resource and equip campus ministry leaders to see evangelism, disciplemaking, and mission mobilization happen on university campuses across the world. Clayton started in campus ministry as the Director of the Baptist Student Ministry at Tarleton State from 2010-2020.
During that time Tarleton BSM began to see students regularly come to Christ, become disciple-makers, and be sent out to plant more campuses. In 2020, Clayton transitioned leadership of Tarleton BSM to another staff and took on a larger role within Texas BSM to train and develop new staff across the state in the areas of evangelism, disciplemaking, and multiplication.
Clayton has written for Outreach.com, Collegiate Collective, Campus Ministry Today, and CollegeMinistry.com as well as serves on the Executive Action Group for EveryCampus, a multi-ministry movement seeking to plant multiplying gospel movements on every campus. Clayton and his wife, Bethany, have four children: Noah, Nate, Sophia, and Obi.
